Graubuenden Sept 14

Sat 6th
Arrive in Tarasp - famous for its castle (see below), which reminded me of Edinburgh castle, except for there is just a tiny village below, no large city and no royal mile - no tourist-tack shops either !

Our holiday home for week 1 was just below the castle, on the street leading up to the castle - here an impression of the setting:

View from village towards castle

View from our balcony

Sun 7th - walk Motta Naluns

It's time to go up a mountain ! We cheated and took the cable car from Scuol to Motta Naluns and so quickly got above the clouds, where we had excellent weather and great views

Andy cleaning his shoes...

...in a nice setting !

When we got back down from the mountain, it really was rather summery warm in Scuol !

Mo 8th - local explore castle & shops

So many choices !

Take-away holy water !!!

Walking down towards Scuol, we got to see the castle from another angle...
